Last updated: October 2026. These terms govern your use of the WICE Nigeria platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or registering on the WICE Nigeria platform ("the Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all users — WICE members, non-members, marketplace sellers, buyers, and visitors.

2. About the Platform

WICE Nigeria (Women in Colleges of Education) is a professional association platform that provides:

  • Member registration, profiles, and chapter management
  • A public marketplace for WICE members and affiliates to list and sell products
  • Academic Self-Assessment Tools for professional development
  • A community forum, news, events, and gallery
  • Advertising services for businesses and institutions

The Platform is developed and maintained by Joit Solution Multi Services.

3. Accounts & Membership

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • WICE Member accounts are assigned a unique serial number (WICE-XXXXX) and require chapter verification for full marketplace access.
  • Non-member accounts may list products and place adverts subject to applicable subscription fees.
  • WICE reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Marketplace Rules

The WICE marketplace connects sellers and buyers on the platform. By listing a product, sellers agree to:

  • Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and availability.
  • Fulfil orders promptly and communicate delivery arrangements to buyers.
  • Not list counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal items.
  • Register a valid Paystack bank account (subaccount) to receive direct payouts for sales.
Seller payout requirement: Sellers who have not registered a bank account via their member dashboard will not receive direct payment for sales. WICE will hold such payments pending account registration or seller contact. Please ensure your bank account is set up under My Marketplace → Bank Account.

WICE is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers regarding product quality, delivery, or returns. All disputes should first be attempted to be resolved between the parties.

5. Payment Processing & Fees

Payment Processing: Joit Solution Multi Services

All payment-related processes on the WICE Nigeria platform — including checkout, payment verification, seller payouts, and refund coordination — are managed by Joit Solution Multi Services in partnership with Paystack as the payment gateway. By making any payment on this platform, you authorise this arrangement.

The following fees apply to marketplace transactions:

  • Processing fee: A 5% processing fee is added to every marketplace purchase. This fee covers payment gateway costs and platform maintenance.
  • Seller payout: Sellers receive 95% of their listed product price, paid directly to their registered Paystack subaccount at the time of each successful transaction.
  • Assessment tool enrollment: Fees for Academic Self-Assessment Tools are non-refundable once payment is confirmed and an access code has been issued.
  • Advertising: Advertising fees are non-refundable after an ad goes live.

All transactions are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦) via Paystack. WICE does not store card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on its servers.

6. Academic Self-Assessment Tools

Assessment tools are powered by the CBT Land platform. By purchasing an enrollment:

  • You receive a unique access code that grants one attempt (or retake, if purchased as a retake).
  • Access codes are non-transferable and personal to the registered email address.
  • Enrollment fees are non-refundable once the access code is issued.
  • Results, reports, and certificates are generated automatically upon completion of the assessment.

7. Code of Conduct

All users must observe the following conduct standards:

  • Treat all members, sellers, and buyers with respect and professional courtesy.
  • Do not post defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content in forums, listings, or any public area.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate, spam, or defraud other users.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform's systems or data.
  • Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

The WICE Nigeria platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • WICE and Joit Solution Multi Services are not liable for losses arising from product transactions between sellers and buyers.
  • We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.
  • Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user in the three months prior to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
